The Main Dialog

The following image and associated descriptions show the usage of the main dialog.

Configuration Dialog Image

A. In this edit box, type the path to the windows text file, whether it is the input file or the output file.

B. In this edit box, type the path to the unix text file, whether it is the input file or the output file.

C. These buttons let you use the save and open dialog boxes so that you don't have to type the path if you don't want to do so. When you push one of these buttons, it will check to see if the file in the edit box next to the other button exists. If it does, the save dialog will be shown. If not, the open dialog will be shown. For this reason, it is best to first click the button for the input file and select the input file, and then push the button for the output file and select where you want it saved.

D. This button converts either the unix text file to a windows text file or vice versa. It does this by checking to see which file exists and converting accordingly. If both files exist or neither exists, it will pop up an error message saying so.

E. This button opens the about dialog box.

F. This button exits the program.
